It also notes that annuals like basil, dill, and cilantro do well, and easy perennials include chives, rosemary, and thyme. \
For medicinal or traditional remedy herbs, lemon balm, chamomile, echinacea, bee balm, peppermint, yarrow, and valerian are commonly grown options.
