Canning Sweet Spreads Workshop

Join us for a hands-on workshop to learn how to safely make and preserve delicious homemade jams and jellies. Participants will learn the basics of water-bath canning, food safety guidelines, and helpful tips for achieving the perfect set in sweet spreads. Whether you are new to canning or looking to refresh your skills, this class will give you the confidence to preserve seasonal fruits at home.

The workshop will take place on May 19, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at the Miller County Extension Office, 1007 Jefferson Avenue in Texarkana, Arkansas. The cost to attend is $15, and space may be limited. Join us to build your food preservation skills and enjoy the satisfaction of homemade sweet spreads.
